Many people think than building their own rotary phase converter is much better than purchasing one cost-wise. But what they didn’t realize is that it is more costly and time consuming. If you make your own RPC, make sure that you have the right information and knowledge in building one. If you don’t, you have to spend time looking for information then reading and understanding them. And even if you have, set backs are inevitable. There are so many factors you have to consider so that the design is appropriate and your equipment will run to its full capacity. However, sometimes these factors are not fully met either unintentionally or intentionally. You have to keep in mind that making an RPC is a huge task and the efficiency of your machines rests in how well you created it.
