Getting by verses using the experienced personnel

Back then when all we could look forward to was a bargain for everything, we used to have one guy to help us with our electronics. When I say electronics, I mean the one odd computer and flash discs that we used to get when trying to find out what was going on in the world of business. We could surf all day just to find a suitable job to apply to. Suitable in the sense that it paid better than the one we had. This guy who used to help us around was used to solving problems by creating others. Whenever you went to him with device problems, he would check out what was wrong with your computer whether the driver was missing or lost or maybe if it was your storage, and then he would look for other drivers from the other computers to fix to yours. At the end of the day, you would go home happy while somebody else who could pay more would buy new ones for himself. Well, that was the life that we were used to and nobody complained much. When after some few years we were blessed to get other prestigious jobs, we would no longer visit him to fix our stuff. We had what was called device support from whence we bought our equipment. The service was quite different. You would come to the shop in the morning and leave your computer without fear of coming back and finding it a shell. The cost was a bit on the higher side, but the tip top condition of the service would not let you complain. Besides you knew you were getting value for your money.
